M\u00fcnchner Stadthochzeit\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

New York City meets Bavaria – mehr ist nicht zu sagen. Wie l\u00e4ssig<\/strong> und gleichzeitig stilvoll<\/strong> man in M\u00fcnchen heiraten kann, haben K&S aus New York City bewiesen. Ein ganzes Wochenende wurde an den sch\u00f6nsten Pl\u00e4tzen der Stadt<\/strong>, inklusive eines z\u00fcnftigen get-together in Tracht am\u00a0Starnberger See<\/a> gefeiert. Unvergesslich, einzigartig und absolut A M A Z I N G<\/strong>. Diese Hochzeit war f\u00fcr mich ein pers\u00f6nliches HIGHLIGHT. FANTASTIC, ONE-OF-A-KIND, GENUINE and MAGICAL<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s been nearly a month since our wedding, and all Sharp & I (and our family and friends) are still talking about is how FANTASTIC, ONE-OF-A-KIND, GENUINE and MAGICAL our wedding weekend was. We owe this success in no small part to the amazing talent of Doreen Winking, who worked with us for nearly two years to create a wedding whose memory will last a lifetime. Coming from the United States — where the wedding industry is not only well established, but pretty \u201cinsane“ — we were worried that we would not be able to find a comparable wedding planner in Germany \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

ABOUT DOREEN WINKING<\/span><\/h2>\n

Little did we know that we would find and work with a wedding planner who blows every American wedding design studio out of the water! What distinguishes Doreen Winking<\/strong> is not only her attention to detail (several of our wedding guests remarked on how NOTHING<\/strong> was out-of-place, EVERYTHING<\/strong> was on time and EVERY<\/strong> potential hang-up was quickly remedied), but her ability to take the nebulous, ill-formed \u201cvision\u201d of her clients and bring it to life in a way that we never imagined possible.<\/p>\n

VENDORS AT OUR WEDDING\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Since Sharp & I live in the United States, we entrusted Doreen with selecting each venue and vendor without ever seeing them ourselves! And we could not have been happier. Every decision Doreen made – from the selection of the venues to the table arrangements to the overall color scheme to the flow of the ceremony\/reception\/dinner\/party – was just perfect. Not to mention, her relationship with and recommendation of vendors was priceless: for example, coming from NYC where mixology is booming<\/strong>, Sharp and I desperately wanted \u201chigh-end\u201d cocktails for our garden reception<\/strong>. Doreen found the most incredible mixologists, which ended up being one of the highlights of the reception<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sharp & I were always skeptical of the notion that one’s wedding day is the \u201cbest day of your life.\u201d But when the wedding weekend finally arrived, the amount of joy we felt is something we will never forget. And it was Doreen\u2019s ability to incorporate small, yet very personal, details that made it possible. I don\u2019t know how she managed to convince the organist to play \u201cLet it Be\u201d by the Beatles (Sharp and my \u201csong\u201d) for my Einzug, but it is a moment I will never forget.<\/p>\n

Thank you so much, Doreen. While we may be slightly biased, we can firmly say that we have never attended a wedding that was more special than ours. I will miss our email and Skype conversations: you really made the process of planning a wedding both fun and memorable. We owe you so much more than you could know.<\/p>\n
